Are audio cables directional Please read the FAQ “Burn-in” as well, much of what is discussed there relates to cable directionality. Yes, there does seem to be a direction; all conductors we have messed with, from metals, to rocks exhibit directionality and signal fidelity changes. It means that nearly all cables will sound better in one direction than another. Some cables’ direction can be reversed, some can’t. Some are the result of design and implementation, others are the net result of play. |
